Military Freedom Pass - VETERANS DAY NEWS - Universal has updated this popular military offering again for 2023 (details below!)! New for 2021, Universal Studios Orlando has launched EXCEPTIONAL ticket deals for military members and their families. Like Disney, Universal has been offering special discounted passes for military families for more than a decade, but this year, with the introduction of the "Military Freedom Pass", Universal has really upped the game. (updated 11/11/2022)
The Normal Universal Military Ticket (which is still available) is valid for a certain number of days/visit. Military Freedom Passes are good for (almost) unlimited admission to the park for the rest of 2022 AND (almost) daily in 2023. It's like a Universal Annual Pass, only without the dining, merchandise, and parking discounts. With sales like this unprecedented, you know I have to buy a ticket - so look forward to seeing more Universal content this year!
Military Freedom Pass
There are two options for the Universal Freedom Pass in 2023 - a 2 park option and a 3 park option. And surprisingly, ticket prices are exactly the same as the 2021/2022 offers!

As with all offers, tickets must be used by the same person throughout the day and tickets are non-transferable. Maximum (6) tickets per eligible Military ID. Unlike Disney's offering, Universal allows service members and their spouses to each purchase 6 tickets as long as each has US Military ID.
Tickets are available at Basic Ticket Offices or at Shades of Green. They are NOT AVAILABLE at the Universal box office. We picked up our Shades of Green tickets the day we arrived in Orlando and then activated them at the Universal Studios Ticket Window on our first USO park day. Easy fame!! If you're looking for regular (non-military) Universal tickets, I recommend getting them through Undercover Tourist to save a bit (affiliate link).
We like to stay at Universal's Endless Summer Resort (either Surfside or Dockside) because they have 2 bedroom suites that sleep 6 without using the sofa beds, so there's plenty of room for the whole family! So tell me, are you a military family, and will you be getting a Universal Studios Freedom Pass this year??

If I were still in Orlando (and, again, if it weren't for the pandemic), I'd be buying one right away.

This stuff is mainly marketed on active installations, so MacDill and Patrick's are the closest "mainstream" market. And even that is tiny compared to what's in Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi.
